Amid the squishy boom, TOKOTOYZ has just released a new line of "Punikko" original squishy blind boxes!
Lifestyle Company Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will begin accepting pre-orders for its hobby brand "TOKOTOYZ" original squeeze series "Punikko" across three collections—"Punikko Sweets Fluffy Soufflé Series," "Punikko Sweets Swiss Roll & Butter Series," and "Punikko Animal Cute Butt Series"—on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM via the official TOKOTOYZ EC site and Rakuten.
Triggered by unboxing videos on social media, the squeeze boom that originated overseas has now taken Japan by storm. Riding the crest of this trend, TOKOTOYZ is proud to introduce its original "Punikko" squeeze line.
"Punikko" is a squeeze series designed for a squishy, soft tactile feel and a cute aesthetic that makes you want to collect them all. The launch features three lineups: two themed around "sweets" and one focusing on the chubby "butts" of animals.
Each series is available in a blind box format, with 6 types plus 1 secret design per series. Sales are also planned to expand to TikTok Shop and other malls and physical retail stores starting in mid-May 2026.
